Thank you for signing up to Totally Stockport’s Totally Free Parking Scheme at Heaton Lane car park in Stockport town centre.

Due to it’s initial success, we extended the offer by another 3 months, but would like to remind you that this promotion is ending at midnight on 31st December 2018 after which time the offer will no longer be applicable and your Totally Free Parking Pass will expire.

You are welcome to use your free parking pass until 31st December and make the most of the free parking facility while you visit the town centre for all your Christmas shopping.

In January, Stockport Council will be introducing free car parking in their managed car parks after 3pm, from Monday to Friday. Participating car parks are located at Heaton Lane, Merseyway/Redrock, Newbridge Lane, Knightsbridge and Ritz.

Visitors to Stockport Town Centre can still register for free parking. The permit will be valid until 31st December 2018, and you are free to park for up to 4 hours every day, without the hassle of paying for parking.

NOTE: Previous Totally Free Parking passes with an expiry date of 31st August are valid to 31st December 2018

Free parking is available until 31st December 2018 on the 6th floor of the Heaton Lane Car Park. Monday to Sunday, 6am – 6pm.

Where is the car park?

Totally Free Car Parking is available on the 6th floor of Heaton Lane Car Park, Heaton Lane, Stockport.

What times can I park on the car park?

You are free to park between 6am – 6pm, Monday to Sunday for a maximum period of 4 hours in any one day when displaying your Totally Free Parking pass.

Is there a limit to how long I can park?

You can park your car for a maximum period of 4 hours in any one day when displaying your Totally Free Parking pass.

How long is my Totally Free Parking pass valid?

Your Totally Free Parking pass is valid from 1st June 2018 to 31st August 2018

Is there disabled parking available?

No. Due to access, Totally Free Parking for disabled is not available on the 6th floor but is available on the ground floor of Heaton Lane Car Park in designated disabled parking bays supplied by Stockport Council.

Can I register two vehicles to one Totally Free Parking pass?

No. Each vehicle must be registered independently and will be issued with its own Totally Free Parking pass with its own unique identification number.

Can I use any parking bay?

You may only park for free in the bays clearly marked ‘Totally Free Parking’ on the 6th floor of Heaton Lane car park and for a maximum of 4 hours on any one day and between the hours of 6am and 6pm.

Do I have to display my permit?

Yes. All cars using the Totally Free Parking facility that is clearly marked and only available only at Heaton Lane car park in Stockport must clearly display a valid Totally Free Parking pass. Failure to do so will result in the vehicle being issued with a parking enforcement notice resulting in a fine.

Will I ever have to pay at the parking machine?

If your vehicle is displaying a valid Totally Free Parking pass and is parked within the allocated bays on the 6th floor of Heaton Lane car park, Stockport, between the hours of 6am to 6pm, for a maximum period of four hours in any one day, you will not need to pay at the ticket machine.

What happens if I damage or lose my Totally Free Car Parking pass?

If your Totally Free Parking pass is lost or damaged you must notify the provider by email – parking@totallystockport.co.uk You will be able to re-register for a replacement Totally Free Parking pass which will be issued with a new unique identification number. You will not be able to park for free until you receive your replacement Totally Free Parking pass and it is clearly displayed in your vehicle. Failure to do so may result in in the vehicle being issued with a parking enforcement notice resulting in a fine.

What do I need to register?

You will need to register online at www.totallyfreeparking.couk where you will need to complete a short form with details of your name and address, your email address, car registration number, make and model. This information is required so that we can issue you with your unique Totally Free Parking pass. Any information provided to us will only be used to contact you regarding Totally Free Parking and will not be used for any other purpose or shared with any company other than Totally Stockport who are issuing the pass on behalf of Stockport Town Centre Business Improvement District limited.

I have an electric car, do you have charging points?

No. There are no electric car charging points on the 6th floor of Heaton Lane car park in Stockport.
