Stockport BID Covid-19, Chair statement

Coronavirus latest update
Posted – 12 May 2020

Throughout this period of partial lockdown, the team behind Stockport’s Business Improvement District – Totally Stockport – are continuing to work to support our BID levy paying businesses, including the Board of Directors, Paul Taylor, BID Manager, and Lisa Noel.

This includes ensuring that we keep the flow of communication to our BID levy paying businesses up-to-date as Government guidance, advice, financial support and, in some cases policy, is changing daily.

Daily news updates are being published on the Totally Stockport website – www.totallystockport.co.uk including information that can help your business to survive the instability that the current Covid-19 outbreak has brought to our business community.

These links to the Government website may help to answer some of your immediate queries:

Can your business benefit from financial support?
What loans are available to me?
Do I qualify for a Grant funding or from an additional top-up fund?
What other financial assistance is available to me and my business?
Do my employees qualify for any financial assistance?
What guidance is available to help me reopen my business safely?

These are unprecedented times and I am sure that you will have many more questions that, as a team, we will endeavour to answer.

Please email your questions to info@totallystockport.co.uk in confidence and we will create a list of FAQs, updated as necessary and publish these on our website.

Stay alert, protect the NHS, save lives.
