Offering access to the latest fitness equipment and exercise classes 24/7, The Gym at Redrock enables members to fit their work outs around their busy lifestyles.
Redrock has established itself as one of the North West’s leading leisure destinations with over 11,000 people a week visiting to enjoy watching a film or a meal with family and friends since it opened.
The Gym is the latest name to join the growing line up which already boasts The Light Cinema, Berretto Lounge, Zizzi and PizzaExpress. More businesses are set to open soon.
The Gym’s opening comes just two weeks after dessert restaurant Creams came to Stockport. Serving waffles, crepes, shakes, sundaes and cakes from their newest store opposite The Light Cinema, Creams is already doing a roaring trade and proving very popular with visitors.
Both openings have created many new jobs for local residents who are at the heart of the investment work taking place.
Caroline Simpson, Corporate Director for Place at Stockport Council said:
I’m delighted to welcome The Gym to Redrock, I’m sure they’ll have a great future in Stockport. It’s also great to see so many new shops and businesses choosing to open in Stockport town centre. An exciting transformation is underway in our town centre, making it an even more popular and vibrant place to visit, live and work.
With free parking available for everyone after 6pm in Redrock’s 360 space multi-storey car park getting to Redrock and parking there couldn’t be easier. Visitors going to The Gym or to watch a film at The Light Cinema can park for free any time of the day free by validating their ticket.
