Whatever the weather, Stockport is guaranteed an Icy White Christmas this year as the Polar Express steams into town and 16 giant ice sculptures are set to create a trail around the town centre.
It’s going to be a weekend of free, festive, family fun on both Sunday 8th and Sunday 15th December and free parking in some town centre car parks*.
The Polar Express land train will be offering free rides for everyone around the town from 10am until 4pm and will leave from outside the Air Raid Shelters on Chestergate every 15 minutes.
